ELLENBURG CENTER, NY --- Ada M. Williamson, 82, of the Seymour Road passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the home of her daughter in Stillwater, NY.
She was born in Malone, NY on May 16, 1930, the daughter of Seymour and Clara (Bushey) Jock.
Ada married Ross Williamson on August 11, 1948 in Brainardsville,NY.
She was very devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Ada loved reading, baking, sewing, quilting, ceramics, gardening, and especially babysitting her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ross Williamson of Ellenburg Center, NY; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ross R. and Monica Williamson of Schenectady, NY, Larry and Pamela Williamson of Ellenburg Center, and Kelly Williamson of Clifton Park, NY; four daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Gary LaBarge of Ellenburg Center, Bonnie and Daniel LaClair of Churubusco, Vickie and Joseph Dupuis of Stillwater, NY, and Darcy and Kenneth Moore of Ellenburg Center; one sister, Dorothy Purves of Rochester, NY; one sister-in-law, Gloria Jock of Albion, NY; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; seven nieces and nine nephews.
She was predeceased by one brother, Seymour Jock and two sisters, Genevieve Jock and Louva Baker.
At Ada's request, there will be no public calling hours or funeral service.
