Obituary

PLATTSBURGH – Alexander B. Inniss, 65, of Cornelia Street, passed away, September 12, 2025.

He was born in Boston, MA on May 1, 1960, son of Charles Inniss and Ann Shirley Fraser.

Alex graduated high school in Boston and then entered the United States Army in 1978 He was Honorably Discharged in 1983.  Alex was proud to have served his country and was very honored to be on Honor Flight No. 65 on September 6, 2025.  He had the time of his life!

In 2014 he graduated with an Associate's Degree from Clinton Community College, where he was also very active with the CCC Senate and the CCC Veterans Affairs.

Alex was a simple man who loved his family and was loved by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Lori (Rowe) Inniss, who he married on March 30, 2023; his children, Jordan (Sadie) Stenke, Joseph Jamison, and Dianisha (James) Magario;  brothers, Tyrone Inniss and Sean (Irene) Inniss;  and grandchildren, Valerie, Lauren, Tiffany, Nathaniel, Charlieze, Aeowyn, Michaiah, Zimrah, Constantine, Genevive, Evangeline, and Solomon.  He also leaves behind his beloved mother-in-law, Cynthia Rowe.

Alex was predeceased by his parents;  brothers, Phillip Inniss and Gary Joseph Inniss;  and grandson, Justin Magario.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th at 1:00 p.m. in St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville.

Burial will take place at a later date in Saratoga National Cemetery.

Donations in his memory may be made to the North Country Honor Flight or the Elmore SPCA.
