ELLENBURG CENTER – Anne Marie Sylvester, 52, of Vanderbogart Road, passed away, June 16, 2022 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT with her loving family by her side.

She was born in St. Albans, VT on June 23, 1969, the daughter of Robert and Susan (Brier) Garrow.

Anne married Peter Sylvester on August 8, 1992 at St. John the Baptist Church in Enosburg Falls, VT.

She proudly worked side by side with Peter and their children on the family farm, (Valley View Farm) through all the challenges and celebrations that farming brings until her passing. Anne loved caring for their dairy herd, her horses and flock of sheep. Anne was a mentor and role model to many as well as a talented mechanic who could fix almost anything.  But most of all, Anne had her love for the Lord.

Anne is survived by her loving husband, Peter Sylvester; children, Nathan Sylvester, Matthew Sylvester, and Olivia Sylvester; her parents Robert and Susan Garrow; siblings, Robert Garrow Jr. and his wife Jackie, Edmund Garrow and his wife Joanne, and Leslie Garvey and her husband Gerald. Peter's parents Leonard and Mary Sylvester, brother-in-law Brian Sylvester and his wife Rebecca, Aunt Darlene Symons; and many nieces and nephews; Anne's pet beagle Billy and cats Ginger and Katrina.

Visitation will be held on June 25th from 10 am. to 11:30 am. at the Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Noon in St. Edmunds Church. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
