ELLENBURG DEPOT – Armond "Stacey" LeClair, 54, of Route 11, passed away, April 24, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Plattsburgh on July 27, 1970, the son of Armond and Pearl (Baker) LeClair.
Stacey married the former Jeannie LaFountain on January 15, 2005 in Altona, NY.
He enjoyed the outdoors and liked to go fishing, hunting, camping, and especially making sure his lawn was perfectly cared for.
Stacey also enjoyed cooking, hosting dinners, and cheering on his beloved Red Sox! Most of all, he was a gentle caring soul who loved helping others and especially being a "Papa".
Stacey dealt with many health challenges throughout his life, but he always found the positive side of things, loved making others laugh and cherished each moment with his family and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife Jeannie LeClair; children, Sierra Bishop and her husband, Hunter, Dakota LeClair and his companion, Grace Cayea, and Madison LeClair and her fiancée Kevin Hartpence; parents, Armond and Pearl LeClair; sister, Amanda Poupore; father-in-law, Clarence LaFountain; grandchildren, Malayna Bishop, Lonny Bishop, and Eloise LeClair; and many nieces and nephews.
Stacey was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Janice LaFountain.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Ellenburg Center EMS.
