ELLENBURG CENTER, NY--- Audrey O. Blow, 91, of West Hill Road, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
She was born in Ellenburg Center on March 16, 1925, the daughter of Grant and Bertha (Williamson) Coolidge.
Audrey married Russell J. Blow on June 17, 1943 in Ellenburg Depot, NY. Russell passed away on May 3, 1982.
She graduated from Ellenburg Central School, and later began working as a loan officer at the State Bank of Ellenburg in Ellenburg Depot. Following the merger of the bank with Key Bank, Audrey went to work at the Plattsburgh Key Bank, where she retired following 37 years of service. Audrey was a member of the Eastern Star, the United Methodist Church of Ellenburg, the Rural Preservation Co. and the Women's Society of Christian Service. She enjoyed doing fancy work, traveling, reading, and especially spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by two sons, Ray Blow of West Chazy, and Garth Blow and his wife Bernadette of North Port, FL; one daughter, Sandra Bolia and her husband Ronald of Ellenburg Center; one sister, Melba Cashman of Ellenburg Center; six grandchildren, Brenda and Ted Farnsworth, Michael and Misty Blow, Bruce and Pamela Juneau, Bradley and Brandy Juneau, Randy Bolia, and Amy and Matt Forcier; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, three nieces and three nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the United Methodist Church of Ellenburg in Ellenburg Center. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery in Ellenburg Center.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Riverside Cemetery or the Ellenburg Center Fire Department.
