Barbara Ann LaClair, 61, formerly of Ellenburg Depot, passed away March 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born on February 10, 1961, daughter of Clifton and Yvonne Mary (Supernaw) Nichols.

She served in the United States Air Force for three years, being honorably discharged in 1983.  Barbara also attended and graduated from Clinton Community College and Plattsburgh State University.  In her younger years, Barbara worked as a registered nurse at the CVPH Medical Center.

She enjoyed spending time with her loving family, crocheting, and working with plastic canvas.

Survivors include her children, Michael Cook (Tabitha Cumber), Kristie (Mike) Daniels, Samantha LaClair, and Cassandra (Josh) LaBombard;  brother, Kenneth Nichols;  sister, Mary Dumas;  grandchildren, Christian, Zander, Korbyn, Alexxis, Damon, Mercedes, Aubry, Reilynn, Bentleigh, Gracelynn, and Aurora;  one great-grandchild;  and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents and brother Eugene Nichols.

Burial will take place in St. Edmund's Cemetery in Ellenburg.
