ELLENBURG DEPOT – Barbara J. Miller, 84, of Plank Road, passed away, January 19, 2025.

She was born on June 16, 1940, daughter of Edward and Sadie (Lucia) Eurbin.

Barbara married Mack Miller in 1956 at Holy Angels Church in Altona.

She worked at Pytlak Orchards in Plattsburgh for many years, as well as at Worldwide Warehouse in Champlain and also helped her husband for many years running the junk yard, "Millers Junk Yard".

Barbara loved the time she spent with her family, working in the garden in the summer, and especially loved playing BINGO!

She was a very kind lady, loved everyone who came into her life, and thought about her grandchildren all the time.

Survivors include her son, Rickey Miller;  daughter, Nancy Peryea and her husband Mike;  niece, Crystal Simpson and her husband Steven "Beaver";  very close friends, Roland and Bonnie Trombley;  brother, Clarence Lucia and his companion, Betty;  sister, Doris Nephew;  brothers-in-law, Homer Burdo and Loyal McDonald;  grandchildren, Scotty Miller, Barbie Peryea and her companion Brooke, and Jared Peryea and his wife Shauna;  four great-grandchildren;  and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Mack;  son, Scott Miller;  and siblings Roger and Pauline Lucia, Theresa and Donald Parent, Hildred and Jimmy King, Mildred Burdo, and Shirley McDonald.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Roland and Bonnie Trombley for everything they have done for Barbara, as well as her loving niece and nephew, Crystal and Steve Simpson.  They also wish to thank Lisa Burgen at Hudson Headwaters for everything you did to help her.

A graveside service will be held in the spring in St. Edmund's Cemetery in Ellenburg.
