Altona- Brian Patrick Steele, 61, of Alder Bend Road, passed away at his home on Monday, September 16, 2024.

He was born in San Diego, CA on May 9, 1963, the son of Kenneth and Patricia (O'Connell) Steele.

Brian attended Santana High School. He grew and developed his passion in aircraft mechanics, as well as woodworking and electronics. He enlisted in the Army in 1988 and was honorably discharged in 1999.

He married Kemsey Kilo on November 28, 1994 at the Reformed Congregational Church in Ebeye, Marshall Islands.

Brian was a Quality Assurance Inspector for the government working through Amentum out of Fort Worth, TX.

Brian was hard worker and a jack-of-all -trades. He was a motorcycle and car enthusiast, as well as a member of the North Country Mustang Club. Brian enjoyed participating in motorcycle rides, benefits, and fundraisers to support his community. He inherited his mother's passion for cooking, which now lives on through his children. His loved ones will cherish the moments in which they shared and he will be forever missed.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Kemsey of Altona; son Kyle Steele of Altona; daughters; Sabrina Steele of Plattsburgh, Stasey (Eric) Turner of Ellenburg Depot, Nikka (Nathan) Bombard of Ellenburg Center, Kara Steele of Idaho; brother Timothy Steele of Hemet, CA; sister Laura Torbett of Jamul, CA; grandchildren Lilliana Breyette, Donovan Turner, Athena Turner, Emilia Bombard, Katelyn Bombard; 1 niece (Ashley Torbett) and 2 nephews (Derek & Trevor Torbett).

Calling hours will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Rabideau Funeral Home. Services will end with military honors at 3:00pm to honor Brian for his service to our country.
