DANNEMORA, NY - Carole Anne LaDuke, 80, formerly of Hammond Street, passed away July 10, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Keeseville, NY on June 26, 1941, daughter of Irma (Owen) and Raymond Blaise.

Carole married Robert V. "Bob" LaDuke on August 25, 1962 at St. John the Baptist Church in Keeseville.  Robert predeceased her on August 23, 2014.

She graduated from Lyon Mountain High School in 1958 and went on to Plattsburgh State University where she received her Home Economics Degree in 1962.  Carole then pursued teaching and in 1966 received her Master's Degree in teaching.  She then began teaching in Ellenburg, NY where she remained as the last teacher at Ledgers Corners before taking a kindergarten teaching job at Northern Adirondack Central where she retired on July 1, 1996.

Carole was an avid bowler, bingo player, and enjoyed her occasional trips to casinos in NYS and beyond.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Steven LaDuke of Peru, Suzanne Barber and her husband Perry of Dannemora, and Stephanie Webb and her husband Chad of Peru;  sister, Bonnie Hilbert and her husband David of Spring, TX;  granddaughters, Hannah and Hallie LaDuke;  grandsons, Jack and Landen Webb;  and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carole was predeceased by her parents;  her husband;  and sisters-in-law.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
