Panama City, FL--- Chris J. King, 56, of Panama City, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in Savannah, GA.
He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on August 2, 1956, the son of Howard and Marion King.
Chris graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School in 1974. He married the former Karen Blow on April 26, 1981 at his parent's house in Chazy Lake, NY.
Chris worked for several years driving cross country for Allied Van Lines. He had worked for Home Depot and was currently working on renovating bathrooms and kitchens for Romanoff Renovations in Atlanta, GA.
Chris enjoyed hockey, hunting, fishing, oldies music, and riding dune buggy in the sand dunes of Nevada and California, but his greatest love of all was spending time and being with his family. Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Karen King of Panama City, FL; one daughter, Shantelle King and her companion David Johnson of Summerville, SC; two sons, Neil King and his wife Keri of Oxford, CT & Christopher "Mike" King and his wife Hannah of Panama City, FL, and; his mother, Marion King of Chazy Lake, NY; two brothers, Todd King of FL and David King of NY; three grandchildren, Isaac King, Ryan King, and Ava King; three loving canine companions, KC, Kenzie, and Kalli; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Chris was predeceased by his father, Howard "Sonny" King, one granddaughter, Chloe King, and one brother, Terry King.
A Service of Remembrance was held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Brock's Home Town Funeral Home in Callaway, FL. Services were conducted by his sister-in-law, Sr. Debbie Blow, O.P.
