ALTONA--- Christol Lafave, 61, of Miner Farm Road, passed away unexpectedly, August 8, 2018.

She was born in Plattsburgh on October 16, 1956 the daughter of Victor and Constance (Weightman) Gero.

Christol was a devoted wife and mother who spent her life caring for others.

Survivors include her loving husband, Dean Lafave; two children, Wesley Lafave and Samantha Lafave;  three siblings, Victor (Bonnie) Gero, Merton (Arlene) Gero, and Sharron (Ralph) Graves; five grandchildren, Austin Lafave, Cole Billings, Eliza Warren, Annabell Warren, and Destiny Warren;  and several nieces and nephews.

Christol was predeceased by one sister, Cindy Gero.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg. A brief service will follow at 1:00 p.m.
