Lyon Mountain – Danny L. Peters, 69, of the Standish Rd., passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, after a brief illness with his wife by his side.

Dan was born in St. Albans, Vermont on November 14, 1954 the son of Percey and Lillia (Ashton) Peters.

Dan retired as a truck driver after 35 years in January of 2012.

He was a member St. Peter's Swamp Maverick Hunting Club and Bradley Pond Club. Dan took great pleasure in rabbit hunting with his beloved beagles, Amie, Charlotte and Maggie.

Dan was an avid camper and enjoyed his yearly family gathering. Quiet moments you would find Dan on his side by side down by the pond just sitting relaxing, looking across the pond taking in our beautiful north country views.

Dan leaves behind his wife of 47 years Debra; his son Daniel; granddaughter Kaylea (Donnie) Alston; grandson Carter Pardee; great-granddaughter Alora Alston; brother Kerry (Lesa) Hall; 5 sisters Patricia (Robert) Davis, Roxanna Hall, Penny Osicky, Audrey (Mark) Christian, Dulcey (Robert) Clair; Uncle Floyd (Jeanette) Ashton; several nieces and nephews.

Dan was predeceased by his mother Lillia Bennett, daughter Richelle Pardee and daughter-in-law Carolann Peters.

A Celebration of Life will be held next summer.
