Edward "Eddie" R. Louis, 54, of High Springs, FL passed away due to an automobile accident in Waynesboro, GA on December 4, 2016.
Eddie was born in Monterey Park, CA on June 15, 1962 to Robert Louis and Kathryn Seguin. He moved to High Springs, FL in 1981 after graduating from Northern Adirondack Central High School, Ellenburg, NY.
Eddie and Cindy Watson were married April 16, 1999 in St. Augustine, FL.
He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union #702 of Jacksonville, FL and worked as a carpenter foreman at Plant Vogtle in Waynesboro, GA.
Eddie was an avid Gator Fan. He enjoyed cooking out and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Louis of High Springs, FL; sons, Jody Louis of Ft. Bragg, NC, Derrick and Lindsey Boozer and grandson, Jase of Lake City, FL; mother, Kathryn Seguin of Bradenton, FL; brothers, Mike and Naomi Louis of New Carlisle, OH, Bobby and Gina Louis of Green Creek, NC, Bill and Nichole Louis of Cadyville, NY, Sean and Tina Smith of Hawaii, Billy Joe Freer of Ohio, and Brian Smith of OH; sisters, Jess and Matt Anctil of Mooers Forks, NY, Lisa and Mac Higgins of FL; stepmother, Linda Louis of OH; and numerous other family and friends.
He is predeceased in death by his father, Robert Louis, paternal grandmother, Theresa Louis and his maternal grandparents, Anthony and Jane Ferncez.
A Memorial Service will be held on December 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Alachua Woman's Club in Alachua, FL.
