ELLENBURG DEPOT, NY – Florence Cole, 96, of Clinton Mills Road, passed away, October 22, 2020.

She was born in Massena on November 19, 1923, daughter of Hiram and Antoinette Silver.

The family moved to Ellenburg where they made their home.  She was a lifelong bingo player, and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and especially Derek Jeter!

Florence was predeceased by her husband Morton Cole who passed away in 2011;  her infant son, Roger;  her brothers, Arther and Ernest Silver;  and sister, Dora Kirkey.

She is survived by her son Richard "Dick" (Carol) Cole of Champlain;  grandson, Scott and great-granddaughter Miranda Baker of Texas;  sister-in-law, Marge (Ken) Rowe;  niece Linda (James) Reviere of California along with several other nieces and nephews. Florence also had special feelings for her cousin Sherwood Parent who often visited her in her later years.

Florence was predeceased by her sisters-in-law, Thelma (John) Grenier and Naomi (Jim) Keough.

Per Florence's wishes, there will be no visitation.  Burial will take place in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery in Churubusco.
