ELLENBURG DEPOT – Gloria M. Lashway-Manor, 84, of Plank Road, passed away, November 16, 2019.
She was born in Rouses Point on April 27, 1935, daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth (Garceau) Perkins.
Gloria dedicated her life to caring for others. Besides the time she spent raising and tending to her children, Gloria spent countless hours providing tender care to individuals, young and old, throughout the community. She also loved to cook and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Gloria was a member of the Ellenburg Depot Fire Department Auxiliary and a communicant of St. Edmund's Church.
Survivors include her six sons, Bruce Perkins and companion Barbara Barber, Clarence "Hoss" (Sandy) Manor, Ronald (Allyson) Manor, Danny (Tammy) Manor, Michael (Belinda) Manor, and Hank (Linda) Manor; step-son, Dennis Lashway; brother, Jimmy Perkins; sisters, Susie (Howard) Desotelle, Rosemary (Herman) Desotelle, and Barbara (Steven) Buskey; grandchildren, Shawn, Shawna, Travis, David, Lindsay, Mary, Billy, Jessica, Randy, Joseph, Dustin, Michael, Nicholas, Michaela, Jamie, Kristen and Elizabeth; 15 great-grandchildren with another on the way in April; and many nieces and nephews.
Gloria was predeceased by her first husband, Ernest Manor; second husband, Francis Lashway; and three sisters, Mary, Lisa, and Bernie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg. Burial will take place in the spring in St. Ann's Cemetery in Mooers Forks.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Ellenburg Depot Fire Department.
