ELLENBURG CENTER, NY – James Shelton, 38, of Brandy Brook Road, passed away, October 11, 2021.

He was born in Holyoke, MA on September 1, 1983, son of James Shelton and Katherine Senecal.

James was a true and dedicated friend to all those who knew him.  He loved to laugh and listen to music, and he also enjoyed spending time outdoors in the woods, especially going fishing.

Survivors include his sister, Shandi (Robert) Whalen;  grandmother, Julie Dawson;  father, James Shelton;  nieces, Abby Whalen and Izzy Whalen;  nephew, Robert Whalen;  and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

James was predeceased by his mother, Katherine Shelton and her companion Mark Bryant;  his grandfather, Terry Senecal;  and uncle, David Senecal.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16 ^th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg.
