ELLENBURG CENTER--- Janet L. Seiferheld, 72, of Route 11, passed away, April 1, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 12, 1947, daughter of William and Elizabeth (Fitchl) McQueen.

Janet married Charles Seiferheld on June 21, 1969 in Ardsley, NY.

She worked countless hours alongside her husband at their family business, the Pizza Barn in Ellenburg.  Janet was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.  She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

Survivors include her husband of almost 50 years, Charles Seiferheld of Ellenburg, NY;  three children, Janine and Heather Mann of Hopewell Junction, NY, Anthony and Lindsey Seiferheld of Glens Falls, NY and Nicole and Will LaFountain of Mooers, NY; one brother, William McQueen of Florida; sister, Carole and Lenny Schiraldi of Ballston Spa, NY; grandchildren, Heather Mann, Ryan Mann, Parker Thompson, Ryhlee Thompson, Jack Seiferheld, Parker Gowett, Logan Secore, Hayden LaFountain, and Gavin LaFountain;  and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive guests at the Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
