ELLENBURG CENTER, NY – John M. Tryon, 77, of Brandy Brook Road, passed away, Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Anniston, Alabama on December 22, 1943, son of George and Geraldine (Clark) Tryon.

John worked for many years as a truckdriver and then owned and operated a transportation service for horses called Horses On The Move in Ellenburg.

He loved spending time out in nature and especially loved to go fishing.

Survivors include his son, Patrick Tryon and his wife Jessica;  his daughter, Kimberly Tryon;  his sister, Anne Landry and her husband Ed;  and four grandchildren, Colby Tryon, Joshua Woods, Matthew DaCruz, and Jillian DaCruz.

John was predeceased by his parents and one son, John Matthew Tryon, II.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will take place in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Malone.
