ELLENBURG DEPOT– Linda L. McNeil, 78, of the Forest Rd., passed away, Sunday, August 17, 2025 at CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side.

She was born in Ellenburg on August 25, 1946, the daughter of Kenneth and Genevieve Jock.

Linda married David McNeil on February 3, 1968.

She worked at Delagar in Rouses Point for many years. She enjoyed crafting, painting, crocheting and always enjoyed visiting the thrift stores. However, what Linda enjoyed most of all was her daily outings with her husband David.  David just lost his best friend of 57 years.

Survivors include her loving husband David McNeil of Ellenburg Depot; her daughter Monica McNeil (Brad Duquette) of Plattsburgh; brother, Robert (Julie) Jock; brothers-in-law, Jim McNeil, Patrick (JoAnn) McNeil, Jeffrey (Peggy) McNeil; sisters-in-law, Barbara Jock, Helen McNeil, and Sherry McNeil; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was predeceased by her siblings, Donald Jock, Priscilla Duval and Norman Jock, and brothers-in-law Garvin Duval, Donald McNeil, and Richard McNeil; sister-in-law Diana McNeil.

There will be no services at the request of the family.
