ELLENBURG CENTER - Lorraine C. Cashman, 89, formerly of Ellenburg Center, passed away January 9, 2022.

She was born in Altona on August 13, 1932, daughter of Lois and Adeline (Hoole) Guerin.

Lorraine married Robert Cashman on January 13, 1951 at the Nazarene Church in Altona.  Together they shared 67 years together until his passing on October 17, 2018.

She worked alongside her husband on a dairy farm on the Star Road in Ellenburg Center for several years.

Lorraine was very community minded and enjoyed serving coffee on the weekends with Ellenburg Re-act.  She was also a proud member of the Eastern Star, the Northern New York Maple Producers, and a longtime member of the Dairy Lee Co-op and Agway.

Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Cashman and his wife Ella Deyo-Cashman;  brother, Richard Guerin;  sisters-in-law, Shirley Guerin and Melba Cashman;  and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Lorraine was predeceased by her parents;  husband;  brothers, Ernest, Clifford, Jerry, Edward, Roger, and Felix Guerin;  and sisters, Evaline Burdo and Madeline LaFountain.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13 ^th at the Rabideau Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will take place in the spring in Riverside Cemetery, Ellenburg Center.
