Obituary

ELLENBURG DEPOT - Margaret R. Spoor, 79, of Colgan Road, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 6, 1939 the daughter of Fred and Frances (LaValley) Manor.

Margaret married Ronald J. Spoor on August 3, 1957. Ronald passed away on November 29, 2010.

She worked for Nilsen Manufacturing in Haines City, FL until her retirement.

Margaret was a talented cook and baker and enjoyed sharing her meals with friends and family.  Nothing made her happier than spending time with her family especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Survivors include her children, Kim Jeter of FL, Jay (Janice) Spoor of GA, Lorna Cordell of Ellenburg Depot and Travis (Jennifer) Spoor of Ellenburg Depot; grandchildren, Shane Spoor, Jay Paul Spoor, Hannah Greenfield, Kimberly Jeter,  Justin Spoor, Kylie Spoor, and Wayne Wallace; great-grandchildren, Megen, Jessica, Laila, Jayson, Grady, Adam, Joseph, Bobby, and Jayden; and great-great granddaughter, Aubree; siblings, Richard "Dick" (Leona) Manor, Manya Dupree, Hilda DeCoste, Susan (Melvin) Spoor, Donald (Jane) Manor, Karen (Alan) Genereux, Brenda Rabideau, Mike (Janet) Manor, and Shelley (Ronnie) LaBombard; sisters-in law, Cindy Rowe and Alma (Pete) Tripi; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband; brothers, Glenn "Bub" Rowe and David Manor; sisters, Shirley Taylor and Kathleen LaCount; sons-in-law, Bobby Cordell and James Jeter; brothers-in-law, Phil Taylor, William "Bill" LaCount, Louis "Buddy" Dupree, and Maurice DeCoste; and nephews, Darcy Manor and Patrick Drown.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Entombment will take place in Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens, Ellenburg Depot.

Memorial donations may be made to the National Cancer Institute, Building 31 Room 11A-16, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20892.  The NCI has cared for Margaret for almost 20 years during her long battle with cancer and they continue to assist her family.
