LYON MOUNTAIN
---Mark Bryant, 58, of Power House Road, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, with his stepdaughter by his side.
He was born in Chicopee, MA on July 10, 1958. Mark worked for Fabricius Construction Roofing Company in Massachusetts for many years until moving to New York. He then worked at Blue Haven Campground for many years as a Groundskeeper/Handyman.
Mark loved nature and was always doing something outside. He enjoyed going trapping, bird watching, and hiking in the Adirondacks.
Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew him and fought to the end.
Survivors include his fiancée, Katherine Sheldon of Lyon Mountain; two sons, Mark Bryant and Scott Bryant of Massachusetts; two stepchildren, Shandie Whalen of Ellenburg Center and James Shelton of Clinton; his mother, Rita Fabricius of Massachusetts; four stepsisters, Darlene, Gail, Cindy and Hedy; seven biological siblings, Larry, Louise, Elaine, Jo-Anne, Darleen, Kim, and Jay; eight grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Mark was predeceased by his stepfather, Ivan Fabricius; his biological father, Frank Bryant; and one stepsister, Star Couture.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
