ELLENBURG DEPOT, NY-Mary Imogene Dubray of Ellenburg Depot, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 27, 2015.
Born May 12, 1935 to Ivan Blaine and Sofronia (Handy) Sehen in Welch, West Virginia.
She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Isreal Silas Dubray, her parents, five brothers, James, Harold, Franklin, Fredrick and William, and two sisters, Mamie Vansutphin and Dora Lee Strater.
Survivors include two children, a daughter, Regena Gale Rock and a son, Steven Mark Dubray; four grandchildren, Jacob Daniel Dubray, Christopher Adam Rock, Jesse Ivan Dubray, and Carrie Mary Jane Dubray; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her two best friends, Barbara Rabideau and Shirley Gadway.
Mary enjoyed her time tending to anyone and everyone in need. She loved to cook and has at many local diners, as well as for her many friends at B.B.Q.'s. She loved knitting and crocheting, canning, camping, bowling, and playing bingo.
She was loved by all and she will be missed by many. "Sail on, Silver Girl"
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Dannemora United Methodist Church. Entombment will follow in Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens in Ellenburg Depot.
