ELLENBURG CENTER – Neal Finlayson, 57, of Ellenburg Center, passed away, peacefully November 12, 2023.

He was born on October 21, 1966, the son of Jack and Nathalie Finlayson.

Neal had a great love of the outdoors, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed carpentry, gardening and his flowers, mostly his roses, lilies and poppies.  Neal also enjoyed history, reading, and watching the food channel.

Above all else, he loved spending time with his grandsons Jack and Atlys and his beloved chocolate lab, Jax.

Neal is survived by his mother, Nathalie (Thibeau) Finlayson;  partner, Karen Pine;  sons, Joshua, Jared, and Arleigh;  grandsons, Jack and Atlys;  siblings, Katherine (Jamie) Stuart, Cory Finlayson, and Chris (Jodie) Finlayson;  nephew, Connor and great-niece, Scarlett;  and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Neal was predeceased by his father Jack Finlayson.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of the Rabideau Funeral Home, 5614 Route 11, Ellenburg.
