– Norman N. Jarvis, 53, of Irona Road, went home to the Lord October 31, 2022.
He was born on October 8, 1969, son of Norman and Linda (Lafreniere) Jarvis.
Norman attended NACS and Boces for welding and graduated in 1987. He worked for Jeffords Steel in Plattsburgh for 23 years.
Norman had a great love for many sports especially baseball. He was a Boston Red Sox fan and his hockey team was the Montréal Canadiens. He played pond hockey with his family and friends and also loved watching wrestling which he also participated in on high school teams. He loved working on cars and especially restoring them, including a 1970 GTO Judge. Norman loved racing in Naperville, Quebec, fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles and quads. Norman was very close to his grandfather Clarence Lafreniere.
Norman is survived by his best friend and companion his dog, Olaf; his mother and stepfather, Linda and David Johnson; sisters, Tina Riley and Penny Johnson; brother, Brad Hammond; nephews and nieces, Kyle, Connor, Makayla, and Katelyn Lapan and fiancé Daniel Wiscovitch; and best friends, John Guerin and Roberta Dragon.
He is pre-deceased by his father, Norman L. Jarvis; his beloved dogs Rocky, Judge, and Jury; grandparents, Clarence and Harriet (Burl) Jarvis, Clarence and Marie (Valley) Lafreniere, and Ralph and Doris (Bennett) Johnson; brother David Michael Johnson, and brother-in-law Greg Riley.
Services will be private at the request of the family. Please contact a family member for more information.

Norman will be laid to rest with his father at Holy Angels cemetery in Altona, NY.
