HUDSON, FL – Jane R. Provost passed away peacefully on April 18, 2021 surrounded by her three sons, Robert, Brian and Kevin. Her passing follows the passing of her husband Robert I. Provost three months earlier on February 1, 2021.

Jane was the first born of Ida and Armand Suprenant of Mooers Forks. She was preceeded in death by brothers, Richard and John Suprenant. Jane is survived by her siblings Harvey, Bruce, and Roger Suprenant and Shirley Chauvin, Fay Steele, Diane Cudworth, and Betty Borrie.

Robert was born to Edward and Lillian Prevo of Ellenburg, NY. He was preceeded in death by his siblings Billy, Howard, Harold and Larry Prevo, then Shirley Blow. He is survived by siblings Clarence, Kenny, and Leonard Prevo, and Lorraine Broderick.

Jane and Robert formerly resided in Peru, NY where Robert volunteered his time to the Peru Fire Department, rising to the ranks of Captain while there. Robert also worked for many years for Agway and Knights of Columbus. He spent most of his latter years organizing social clubs for those living in his Florida neighborhoods. Jane was a dedicated mother who always cared for their family. She was well known for her baking, arts and crafts, and her bowling skills. Jane was a member of the Peru Fire Department Auxiliary and also enjoyed spending her time volunteering for the Cub Scouts and working at the Peru High School as a teaching assistant.

Those left behind to cherish their memories are sons, Robert and Anne Provost of Clearwater, FL, Brian and Eileen Provost of Hideout, UT, and Kevin Provost of Hudson, FL; and grandchildren, Kelly and Dave Orantes, Megan and Nick Nora and Jon Provost.

Family will greet guests on Thursday, April 29 ^th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Church in Mooers Forks. A Mass of Christian Burial for Jane and Robert will take place at 10:30, followed by burial in St. Anne's Cemetery.
