ALTONA – Born in Altona, the daughter of RoseAlma Rabideau and Harry Oliver, Rose "Marie" passed away peacefully in Haines City Florida on January 1, 2025. Having lived most of her life in Clinton County, Marie more recently wintered in Florida.

Marie was a high honors graduate of Clinton Community College with an accounting degree. In addition to her many years working for H&R Block, Marie also helped run her husband's garage, was Justice of the Peace in Altona, and ran her own quilt shop, Maw & Paws. She loved to craft and quilt and was member of Home Bureau and two quilt guilds. Marie was known for her abundant generosity and kindness.

She is survived by her siblings Gladys Rabideau, Harry Oliver, and Stan Oliver as well as her children, Pam Damour, Ronnie Miller Jr, Darwyn Miller, and Jessica Miller as well and her grandchildren Christine Ghauri, Jacob Miller, Leah Damour, Charlotte Miller, Desiree Sheahan, Carolyn Stumpf, Ronnie Miller III, and Kira Miller plus several great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband Ronnie, Mother RoseAlma Rabideau, Stepfather Otis Rabideau, Father Harry Oliver, and brother Gilbert Rabideau.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg.  A funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will take place in the spring in Holy Angels Cemetery in Altona.
