ELLENBURG CENTER, NY --- Ross G. Williamson, 84, of the Seymour Road passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012, just one day after his loving wife Ada passed away, at the home of their daughter in Stillwater, NY.
He was born in Ellenburg, NY on November 18, 1927, the son of Rollie and Jennie (Boyea) Williamson.
Ross married the former Ada Jock on August 11, 1948 in Brainardsville,NY.
He worked at the McCadam Cheese Plant in Chateaugay, NY for many years.
Ross also had a great love for his family. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing and trapping.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ross R. and Monica Williamson of Schenectady, NY, Larry and Pamela Williamson of Ellenburg Center, and Kelly Williamson of Clifton Park, NY; four daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Gary LaBarge of Ellenburg Center, Bonnie and Daniel LaClair of Churubusco, Vickie and Joseph Dupuis of Stillwater, NY, and Darcy and Kenneth Moore of Ellenburg Center; one sister, Mildred Baker and her husband Andrew of Merrill, NY; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; seven nieces and nine nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Rodney Williamson, and one sister, Georgia LeClair.
At Ross's request, there will be no public calling hours or funeral service.
