Obituary

ELLENBURG DEPOT, NY---Steven M. Dubray, 61, of the Plank Road, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at his residence.
He was born in Welch, WV on July 20, 1954, the son of Isreal and Mary (Sehen) Dubray.
After graduating from high school, Steven served his country in the United States Army. He then worked construction, traveling to various places throughout the Northeast and also owned his own company in Florida, until he became disabled from working on the job.
Steven enjoyed motorcycles, playing horseshoes and playing his guitar. He was a simple man who "Always did it his way, all the way" and had a carefree soul.
Survivors include his three children, Jacob Dubray and his companion, Betty Covel of Ellenburg, Jesse Dubray of Ellenburg, and Carrie Dubray and her companion, Wade Pecore of Ellenburg; lifetime companion and mother of his children, Cynthia Flynn; one sister, Regina Rock and her companion, John Ezzo of Ticonderoga; grandchildren, Ethan Evans-Dubray, Larissa Dubray, Elijah Duprey, Bella Pecore, and one "on the way", Carter Pecore; and one nephew, Chris Rock.
Steven was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg.
