MOOERS FORKS – Tina M. LaValley, 64, passed away, May 11, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She born on July 20, 1961 in Massena, NY and went on to graduate from Chateaugay Central School in 1980.

Tina met Randy LaValley and they married at the Mooers Methodist Church on August 15, 1981. That began a 44 year journey together of making memories and a love that never faded. Tina and Randy were inseparable and together raised their loving son Bradley. She loved to go camping at their camp in the woods spending time with her granddaughters, family and friends. She enjoyed making homemade cards as well as being a hobby photographer. Tina also had a very special bond with her twin sister Toni. They loved to go hiking together looking for waterfalls, and they never missed a day of talking with each other. Tina also had a special bond with her other sister, Star, who was always there whenever she needed her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Randy; her dedicated son Bradley LaValley and his wife Amy; her mother Nancy Nolan; sisters, Toni Shanty and her husband Tom, Star Bashaw, Trudy Blair, and Shasta Labombard; granddaughters, Leah LaValley and Jolene LaValley; mother-in-law, Marie LaValley; sister-in-law, Debbie Meseck and her husband Stanley; Uncle Jim Venette and his wife Cathy; and several nieces and nephews.

Tina was predeceased by her brother, Dana Favreau; stepfather, John Nolan; and grandparents, George and Evelyn Venette and Norman and Dorothy Favreau.

Tina’s family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses at the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center for their compassionate care during Tina’s journey. They also wish to thank Hospice of the North Country for the wonderful care in Tina’s final days.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 13th from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery in Mooers Forks.
