Trent Allen
Trombley
January 6, 1968 – May 17, 2019
ELLENBURG CENTER - Trent Allen Trombley, 51 of Ellenburg Center passed away May 17, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born January 6, 1968 in Plattsburgh, NY at CVPH, the son of Lester and Deborah (Smith) Trombley.
Trent grew up on the family farm, Village View Dairy in Ellenburg Center. Days on the farm were some of his most cherished memories. His youth spent working on the family farm developed the strong and hardworking person that everyone knew. Trent loved his "cows" and was an excellent farmer. He had a great fondness for his collies, Rico, Selleck and Brynn; as well as his sweet Pomeranian Molly. Trent also held many jobs off from the farm. The one job that he enjoyed the most, and was the most recent, was his manager position at the Ganienkeh Gas Station in Altona. Trent took great pride in all that he worked hard for, especially his home and yard. He enjoyed working in his yard and had a talent for gardening.
Trent's smile would light up the room. He will always be remembered for his quick "wit"; as his one-liners always brought much laughter to those around him. Trent loved the 80's. 80's music and some of his favorite sitcoms like the The Golden Girls and Three's Company will always bring so many fond memories of him. Moments spent with Trent will be forever cherished by his family and friends.
Trent was predeceased by his grandmother Martha Trombley, his grandparents Lawrence and Ula Smith and his beloved uncle, Jeff Smith.
Left behind to cherish Trent's memory are his partner Chris Partap, his parents Lester and Deborah Trombley, his sister and brother-in-law, Heidi and Kevin Sample, his brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Lisa Trombley, his "girls" nieces, Kalie, Abbie, and Marlie Sample, his half-sister Kelsey Trombley, his grandfather Richard Trombley, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Trent's wishes were to have a private family service to be held at Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Collie Rescue League of New England or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center in Plattsburgh.
