Obituary

ELLENBURG DEPOT--- Wallace "Wally" Vennette, 62, of Drown Road, passed away November 3, 2017 at his residence.
He was born December 28, 1954, the son of Alfred and Irene (Sears) Vennette.
Wally married the former Carol LaValley at St. Ann's Church on December 12, 1975.
He worked at the McCadam Cheese plant in Chateaugay for over 40 years and also had worked at the Massena State Park and assisted for a short time in Sheldon Hill Cemetery. Wally enjoyed helping others and spending time fixing and building things. He loved spending time fishing, going camping, and especially hunting. He was especially excited to head to hunting camp this month.
Survivors include his wife Carol Vennette of Ellenburg Depot; three children, Michael Vennette of Ellenburg Depot, Regina Vennette of Altona, and Wendy Barbeau of Chazy; three brothers, Robert, Bruce, and Brent Vennette; one sister, Darlene (Bruce) Clark of Baldwinsville; five grandchildren, David Vennette, Mark Syman, Robert Syman, Jr., Chloe Rinn, and Zoe Rinn; and several nieces and nephews.
Wally was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Reginald Vennette.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 7 th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ann's Cemetery in Mooers Forks.
